Godnie uczczono ofiary najwi\u0119kszej po II wojnie \u015bwiatowej zbrodni na ziemiach p\u00f3\u0142nocno \u2013 wschodniej Polski. 12 lipca 1945 r. oddzia\u0142y NKWD i Smierszu rozpocz\u0119\u0142y operacj\u0119, w kt\u00f3rej zgin\u0119\u0142o prawdopodobnie kilka tysi\u0119cy ludzi. Tylko dlatego, ze byli Polakami, Polkami\u2026<br>Obecnie na tablicach pami\u0119ci uwieczniono 513 nazwisk ofiar tego powojennego ludob\u00f3jstwa.<br>Delegacja na czele z panem dyrektorem Leszkiem Mo\u0142odziejko uczestniczy\u0142a w celebracji Mszy \u015bw. w Bazylice pw. Naj\u015bwi\u0119tszego Serca Jezusowego w Augustowie. Msz\u0119 \u015bw. odprawi\u0142 J.E. Ks. Biskup Romuald Kami\u0144ski, wnuk ofiary Ob\u0142awy Augustowskiej.<br>P\u00f3\u017aniej poczty sztandarowe, na czele ze sztandarem sybirackim niesionym przez naszych uczni\u00f3w, przemaszerowali pod Dom Turka. Tam, na dziedzi\u0144cu nowootwartego Domu Pami\u0119ci Ob\u0142awy Augustowskiej kontynuowano uroczysto\u015bci. Zgromadzeni od\u015bpiewali hymn \u201eMazurek D\u0105browskiego\u201d i wys\u0142uchali przem\u00f3wie\u0144 go\u015bci i Burmistrza Miasta Augustowa<br>Miros\u0142awa Karolczuka. Zosta\u0142 odczytany list z Kancelarii Prezydenta Andrzeja Dudy.<br>Podzi\u0119kowania nale\u017c\u0105 si\u0119 uczennicom i uczniom, kt\u00f3rzy z zaanga\u017cowaniem w\u0142\u0105czyli si\u0119 w obchody tej wa\u017cnej rocznicy. Sztandary: szkolny i sybiracki godnie prezentowali: Artur, Maciek, Jakub, Maciek, Szymon, Bartek, Maja, Julia, Izabela, Oliwia, Kornelia, Zuzanna.
